SCL Rotterdam has been investing in a new expansion of our service package: a fully equipped warehouse on site for the reconditioning and restyling of the cars we import for our customers.
SCL Rotterdam has always been busy developing into a 'full service' logistics and operational partner for automotive companies. The most recent addition to our service portfolio in this progressive business strategy is establishing a new warehouse fully aimed at the reconditioning and cosmetic repair of (batches of) cars.
Managing Director Mark Notenboom: "More and more Dutch automotive companies are shifting their focus to international car trade. We monitored an increased demand for not just a strong logistics partner who can handle large volumes internationally, but a provider who could also assist with administrative and operational automotive processes. We want to position SCL Rotterdam as the only automotive service provider in The Netherlands who can offer fully integrated solutions to support international car trade. Taking the restyling part of the process, making sure the vehicles are 'showroom-ready' to sell, into our own management was an important final step for this development."
The completely new department for SCL Rotterdam is fully equipped with facilities like a carwash, restyling and preparation, spray booths and separate working spaces for polishing and interior cleaning.
