Register your import car for NL license platesBefore your car is allowed to drive on Holland's roads it will need to be registered on Dutch NL license plates at the local Traffic Office (the RDW). In most cases this will include a registration procedure as well as a technical approval for vehicle safety, which means that a vehicle inspection officer will inspect both the vehicle's documents and its technical condition. When the RDW inspection officer gives his approval any remaining Dutch Vehicle Tax (BPM) will have to be calculated and paid to receive the final license plates. To avoid delays and complications we recommend using our service for imported cars. We will handle the complete Dutch license plate registration efficiently to get your vehicle on the road quickly and safely.

  • Handled quickly and worry-free
  • Available for European, American and other imports
  • In-house RDW approvals for large volumes
  • Perfectly combined with other SCL services

Registering for Dutch license plates is most often performed in combination with adapting to EU vehicle regulations, registering for a German KFZ registration (European Type Approval) and taking care of the BPM calculation and filing. Combined with these other services your car is made ready to hit the road all at once!

Any remaining BPM (Dutch Vehicle Tax) needs to be paid before receiving the final license registration.
