What to watch out for when importing a GMC
Conversion tips
North American GMCs are built for the US market and differ from European specifications in several areas. Think of lighting, the absence of a rear fog light and different emissions documentation. Large models such as the Yukon XL and the Sierra 2500/3500 require extra attention during the RDW inspection due to their dimensions. Our workshop carries out all necessary conversion to European standards with precision.
Important note: Hummer EV and driving licence requirements
The GMC Hummer EV weighs over 4,000 kg. In the Netherlands, vehicles above 3,500 kg may only be driven with a truck licence (C or C1). Anyone importing a Hummer EV should take this into account. We are happy to inform you about the specific regulations for your situation.
