Technical Inspection: Before a vehicle can be registered with a Dutch license plate, it must meet all technical requirements. Our experts perform a thorough technical inspection to ensure that your vehicle complies with all Dutch standards. When you import a non-European vehicle, it may not meet European laws and regulations and may need to be modified. For example, many American vehicles do not always have a rear fog light or side indicator lights. If this is the case, we will install them neatly for you. Non-European vehicles without EU type approval must first undergo an individual type approval before they can be registered with a Dutch license plate.
RDW Inspection: We guide your vehicle through the RDW inspection (Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer). This includes arranging the necessary documentation and physically presenting the vehicle at an RDW inspection station if requested by the RDW, but in many cases, we can inspect your car in our own workshop.
Emission and Noise Measurements: If necessary, we carry out the required emission and noise measurements to ensure that your vehicle meets Dutch environmental standards.
License Plate Registration: After approval by the RDW, we handle the complete license plate registration. This means that your vehicle will receive a Dutch license plate and be ready for use on Dutch roads.
