Conversion to European Standards
Conversion to European Standards
An imported car or motorcycle from the United States or other non-European countries often does not comply with EU regulations and must be equipped with European Type Approval before it can be registered with a Dutch license plate. This usually requires a few modifications to your vehicle, typically involving relatively small adjustments to the lighting, such as indicators and a rear fog light, depending on your car's configuration.
Why Convert at SCL Rotterdam?
Some people prefer an official brand dealer, but our experience shows that official dealers often have no experience with import cars (a dealer is typically only familiar with original EU-delivered vehicles).
SCL Rotterdam has a modern and specially equipped workshop to handle European modifications to your car at very attractive rates. Thanks to our specially developed methods, we can carry out the modifications quickly – if we also handle your shipping from abroad, this can even be done immediately after customs clearance. Your advantage: lower costs and faster processing.
