Transport options for your Nissan

For shipping your Nissan, you have two main options:

  • Container transport: Commonly used from America. This is often the most economical option. Your car is placed in a container and shipped safely to the Netherlands.
  • Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) transport: Ideal from Japan. Your car is driven onto a special car carrier ship and securely fastened for a safe voyage.

We recommend taking out a transport insurance, which can easily be arranged through SCL.

How long does it take to import a Nissan Skyline?

The average transit time from Japan to the Netherlands is around 50 days. Adding inspection, registration and possible modifications, the total process typically takes 10–12 weeks.
