Container transport or Roll on-Roll off
You can take out a transport insurance on the Ford. The car is shipped to the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany per container or on a ship especially intended for car transportation. Transporting the car on a special car deck is called Roll on-Roll off (Ro-Ro). The car is always secured meticulously, for a safe journey. After import, the car will be stored in our depots to keep it safe.
Import to a Dutch port
When the car arrives in Holland or another destination, it will be registered with a license plate. In the Netherlands, customs charge you with the VRT. SCL can arrange this for you. We calculate a VRT that is as low as possible with an accepted calculation method. We can also facilitate in the inspection by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing agency.
